Still working on the CentOS installation.
Installing the CentOS server and Client.
On the server:
Installing Very Secure File Transfer Protocol (vsftp)/ Graphical FTP (gftp)
LAMP Install ( Apache, MySQL, PHP (with php modules and phpMyAdmin)
Tested eash installations using a series of commands and they all seem to be working.
On CentOS client:
Nothing really downloaded but its the location for the gftp client and where the file transfers will take place.
Alternatively downloaded FileZilla client as a second choice for the file transfer.
